Theatre with Teeth's Edinburgh Fringe Show: "It's a Woman's World." Written by Anouk Saint and directed by Amélie Ashley-Timms and Emily Parker Humphreys. A film set, Hollywood, 1953. The animated fairy tales are in vogue, and young actresses leap at the chance to get involved in the new era of Hollywood. Three women navigate stardom, voice acting and independence in the world of Meyer’s studio. The only catch? The contracts won’t let them speak again. ‘It’s A Woman’s World’ depicts these women during a crucial week in their professional and personal lives as the price of stardom and being a woman in a 'man's world' becomes a living nightmare.
