Kino Kabinet #4

MakeTank this Friday, 18th November, Kino Kabinet and Cine SistersSW host an event for people who love film and invite womxn who make short films to bring along a work in progress. Laura Denning will start the evening, plotting her adventures with film over the last 10 years. Laura is a transdisciplinary artist who uses film in her work and is founding member of Cine SistersSW. Much of her work has been produced with a mobile phone and the default editing software on her PC, yet has been screened internationally. She has shot two films with a full crew, one of which is in post-production. She hopes to share some rushes from this latest film. The rest of the evening will be filled with Short films that you can bring along on a memory stick (max length 10mins) Cine Sisters SW CIC is an Arts Council funded collective of womxn working in film and living in Devon & Cornwall. We launched in Sept 2020. Our aim is to provide inspiration, support our members to create projects on a range of platforms, and when possible, offer small funded opportunities for womxn filmmakers in our region. Cine Sisters SW CIC is a non-profit company registered in England and Wales, run by directors Lauren Tenn, Kate Paxman and Laura Denning. Kino Kabinet is a platform that celebrates the short film form, work in progress, artists moving image and collaborative filmmaking.
