Head, Tails, Talons, Teeth
A bestiary costume creation workshop for children using recycled and up-cycled materials.
Time & Location
23 Oct 2021, 15:00 – 18:00
Maketank, 5 Paris St, Exeter EX1 2JB, UK
About the event
Come along to this hands-on workshop with artist Annie Murdock at MakeTank Exeter, where we will construct a bestiary of fantastical costume elements --- the heads, tails, talons, and teeth of a creature straight from your imagination!
Using up-cycled and recycled materials, each participant will create wearable appendages that they will be invited to present in an informal 'catwalk' for parents and caregivers at pick-up.
This workshop will run from 3pm-6pm at MakeTank with cookies and tea to help keep our energy up! Come prepared to experiment with ideas and materials, and to have some fun trying on your creations at the end of the day.
All materials will be provided. As we will be making elements to wear, shirts and leggings/sweatpants that are OK to get messy would be ideal.
