About the event

Drop-in workshop, £15 per drypoint etched print. 12 & 13th 11am-3pm.

Enjoy producing your own drypoint etched prints, drawing with a sharp point or scribe, onto perspex to create an impression of a drawing which, when inked, can be printed from again and again.

Think of it as an etching without the acid. The soft, feathery lines of drypoint lend themselves to playful illustrations or expressive sketches, which can then produce an edition of prints. After inking up our perspex plates, we will use a small, portable press to print our etchings.
