About the event

Biopiracy is the unethical patenting of biological and botanical material for commercial gain. It’s a modern form of colonisation. Angie Bual, founder and artistic director of Trigger, will seed ideas and lift the lid on this global issue.

Trigger is in collaboration with GROW, connecting artists and academics from Australia , Canada and the UK to unpack the tangled history of botany, plant use and ownership in a cross-continental, online R&D process.

Ange is also the Creative Director of PoliNations, a major cultural event celebrating diversity and migration through the UK’s people and plants.

Part of the Exeter Seed Swap 2023 - free RSVP required.
