COP-EXE 26
Start of November 2021 was full of dynamic exchanges around COP26 responses. As you might have seen there was a COP-EXE trail of activities around the city with multiple venues open for Exeter residents - St. Petrock's, St. Sidwell's, St. Stephen's, The Mint and Maketank - to find out more about local organisations and sustainable businesses, to take local action to mitigate the climate crisis.
With ardent local climate action organiser Becky Well's initiative and support, Maketank's focus was on COP26 response in conversation with Devon Development Education, Exeter Community Energy, Recycle Devon, Global Systems Institute, MSc Global Sustainability Solutions Programme, FLOW Orchard Exeter, Exeter Connect, Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability, XR Exeter, Labour for a Green New Deal, Exeter Seedbank, Biodiversity with Wildlife Trust, Fairtrade Devon.
More about all events can be read in Exeter Observer (a local newspaper with integrity and teeth): COP-EXE event showcases local responses to global climate crisis.
